Job Description

Our client is one of Australia's largest, publicly listed waste management company. With over 4,000 employees in more than 200 locations across Australia.

They are looking for a confident and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this position will be responsible for driving sales across their service offering which includes Bulk Liquid Waste, Industrial Services and Packaged Waste for the Sydney Region.


  • Customer Retention
  • Drive sales and meet established sales targets
  • Understand the external market and analyse data to implement sales strategies
  • Cold calls & prospecting to continually seek new customers and prospects
  • Meet the maintain relationships with new and existing customers to gain new business and develop organic growth
  • Presenting well-structured proposals and quotations to customers
  • Provide quality and timely account management to all customers

Experience Needed

  • B2B sales experience in automotive, industrial and manufacturing industries
  • A proven track record in securing & increasing sales revenue
  • A background in construction, transport, contract management or other industrial related industry
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Appropriate territory qualifications in marketing or relevant business-related discipline
  • Hold and maintain current drivers licence
