With over 30 years' experience in the Melbourne home builder market, our client has set the benchmark for home design, invention and sustainability. They are a well-respected and highly reputable multi divisional company, who are currently expanding their presence in their marketing department, as such they are looking to hire an experienced State Marketing Manager


Working from their Eastern suburbs based office, this role is a key focus for the business and their continued growth. With a focus on B2C marketing strategies, you will be responsible for increasing exposure and brand presence through creative digital marketing strategy and execution. As a key figure in the Melbourne team and through collaboration with other leading senior management colleagues, you will be the key driver in digital marketing success.

A selection of responsibilities include...

  • Effectively manage all the marketing initiatives & activities through all channels.
  • To lead, mentor & develop a small team of marketers and collaborate with business managers in the local and national teams to deliver exceptional marketing programs to support the business needs & set targets
  • Lead the marketing team at state level
  • Develop and manage the state marketing strategy & calendar of activities annually
  • Manage & be accountable of all agreed marketing budgets and timelines
  • Oversee the creation of content for all channels including; written content - both online and print; web videos; social media posts; product assets development including façade render, floor plans
  • Manage & be accountable for the communication with internal and external business stakeholders to effectively manage the creative development, online and print production process for all marketing strategies, projects and activities - including brochures, signage, sales office interiors, POS, website updates, press and more
  • Present insights & recommendations for marketing programs based on knowledge of market influences, including competitor analysis
  • Trial new ideas and strategies, with emphasis to reduce costs where possible
  • Working and contributing in a team environment, both within the immediate team and the broader National teams
  • Working to continuously improve service and systems
  • Observance of and commitment to WH&S requirements
  • Complete other reasonable tasks as requested by Management


  • Relevant education in marketing or business, preferably degree qualified
  • Previous experience working for a home builder or property management group
  • People leadership skills
  • Ability to interact at a high level in the business and work collaboratively with other senior leaders
  • B2C focus
  • Digital and CRM exposure
  • Strategic thinker who can also be hands on and work side-by-side with the team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical, energetic, creative
  • A strong digital marketing focus
