Their membership base ranges from leading institutional investors, superannuation funds, property trusts and financial suppliers, to private investors, developers and providers of professional services to the property industry. Due to recent success, they are looking to further strengthen their ever-growing sales team.


The role is an essential function within the business. Reporting to the Director of National Conference, you will be responsible for the below:


  • Developing sponsorship and sales strategies for all national Conferences and advertising
  • Identifying new sponsorship, advertising and partnership prospects
  • Create sponsorship and advertising proposals and packages
  • Pitching solutions and opportunities to prospective sponsors and advertisers
  • Work on a strategy to meet all financial targets for advertising, national publications, sponsorship and national conferences
  • Building a strong rapport and maintaining strong industry contacts
  • Managing and fulfilling sponsorship deliverables prior, during and after national conferences


For the successful candidate: 3+ years previous experience in corporate, event, conference or sales experience. A self-motivated and confident individual with exposure in pitching and negotiating new business is ideal. The successful individual must possess the below skills and responsibilities:

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in sponsorship/business development, event sales/marketing, event experience
  • Demonstrated success in marketing and selling services and/or securing sponsorship income
  • Demonstrated self-confidence with a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels
  • Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to work to deadlines independently and with limited supervision, but clear direction
  • Superb communication skills
  • Well-organised and strong attention to detail

Salary: $90k-$100k Base + Super
