Our client is a global organisation and has been active in the Australian market for over 30 years. The company is involved in designing, engineering and manufacturing a variation of signage products for all types of businesses. The product suite on offer ranges from indoor signage, building signage, outdoor signage all the way through to vehicle signage. Offering a very supportive and collaborative work environment our client provides the perfect breeding grounds for success for hardworking individuals with relevant industry experience. Rapidly expanding because of business growth, they are looking to add strong candidates with an extensive sales representative background to their already successful sales team.


The role is an essential function within the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the below:

  • Ability to recognise business/sales opportunities, then present solutions in a knowledgeable and professional manner
  • Build rapport with potential customers
  • Explain versatility of our signage and introduce services provided
  • Follow up on all leads, pricing and prepare quotes
  • Maintain a consistent and organised follow up system
  • Drive individual sales both internal and external
  • Achieve and exceed all targets and key measures
  • Positively represent the company in a professional manner
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers


For the successful candidate proven experience in a signage or related industry is advantageous. A self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach, relevant industry knowledge and proven industry experience would be well suited.

  • Must be computer knowledgeable and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs
  • Previously managed key accounts
  • Possess a good understanding of sales and marketing tactics.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to work with the public daily
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive new business
  • Exceptional ability to close sales with new and existing clients & demonstrate performance
  • Produce quotes for standard/locally procured items;
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients;
  • Attend client meetings when the need arises;
  • Maintain project schedule and delivery dates to ensure the departments meet deadlines and that all jobs have been entered in a timely fashion;
  • Proven track record in Sales (Achieving budgets, Being a strong performer in your prior role).
  • Answering incoming calls to the business

$60k-$70k Base + Super + Commission
