Job tasks and responsibilities

Build an established project team with organised and defined responsibilities
Oversee the monitoring and implementation of all site safety procedures in according to the Project Safety Management Plan
Management of construction program and improve as required
Offer support for site staff in solving any problems that may arise with the coordination and scheduling of trade contractors and suppliers
Management of the project budget and work with site staff to make sure project/company targets are met
Own and offer coaching with the works of the Contracts Admin team
Liaise with the Client to maintain and nourish a long-standing relationship
Report to the Construction Manager regularly and provide consistent updates

Skills and experience

Relevant experience or qualifications in Building, Construction or Engineering
Proven experience in a similar role
Experience delivering projects in the region of $2M - $50M (aged care and/or industrial advantageous)
Exceptional leadership skills
Ability to develop, mentor and motivate staff
