Provide overall product management leadership for the Seek Hawk product range.

The Role
As Product Manager - Seed Hawk, you will have full product range leadership including strategic and operating responsibility and be the primary point of contact for suppliers. Take accountability for product placement timing and pricing, as well as developing and achieving annual product action plan and budget. You will enjoy keeping informed with market intelligence, providing training and ensuring supporting systems are accurate and up to date.

The Person
You are an experienced Product Manager within a Farm Machinery product range, preferably with Seed Hawk or like. As a natural business nurturer, you will thrive on the opportunity to best place your product range, develop key internal and external relationships, build a product knowledge base that is second to none, train stakeholders and continually seek to influence for optimum success.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • A product leader with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge extension
  • Ability to deliver regular product training to internal and external stakeholders
  • Be accountable for to the annual planning cycle for product range
  • Lead the supplier negotiation and sales order planning
  • Determine the right machine specifications and set retail price lists
  • Work with GM of Products to provide guidance to the business on new product suitability
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis become a renowned expert in this field
  • Support Regional GM and support roles with dealer training and operator set up, etc.
  • Manage hazard identification and documentation
  • Build strong relationships with customers, dealers and suppliers
  • You are organised with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • You will work with integrity, have industry knowledge and a creative mindset
