Order Fulfilment Specialist

Our client is one of Australia's leading sports apparel brands for Australia and New Zealand. They are a Sydney based company that specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of Sports Apparel, Golf, Corporate, Tourist, Sporting and Promotional Apparel, Headwear and Luggage for both the Australian and International markets

The successful applicant will have responsibility for the accurate and timely fulfilment of orders together with the care of their customers makes this role is vital to the success of their business. You will be working with a young yet experienced team of colleagues based in their offices in increasingly popular Rosebery destination.

Working in a fast-paced customer focused environment with a high volume of inbound inquiries.

Core duties and responsibilities

  • Enter customer purchase orders into Apparel 21 ERP System
  • End to end sales order management
    • Schedule Orders for in-house embroidery production
    • Manage a high volume of in-bound orders with time sensitive dates for events
    • Release orders to warehouse for timely pick, pack & dispatch
    • Maintain accurate order due dates & manage customer expectations
  • Customer Stock, Pricing inquiries & the ability to advise & recommend on product selection
  • Liaising with their delivery partners
  • Liaising and support of the sales, finance & supply chain team
  • Communicating with customers by email and phone
  • Troubleshooting order delivery problems
  • Keeping their customers happy!!

Skills, talents and experience

The successful candidate is likely to have strong skills in the following areas:

  • MS Windows & Office and ideally familiar with ERP software
  • Data entry and administration
  • Experience with accounting packages preferred
  • Organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving strategies
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multitask

We do not require direct experience in this role but a broad set of experience in various customer facing and administrative roles should provide you with the necessary skills.
