Our client is an innovative Process Control Automation business committed to engineering the best solutions and enhancing their clients' productivity.


Due to exciting growth, a new opportunity has been created for a skilled Operations Manager to join this passionate team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing operational requirements through the development, implementation and improvement of processes and efficiencies. This role will span across the management and improvement of areas such as labour scheduling, project reviews, QHSE, and people.


You are a proven Operations Manager who is detail oriented, resilient and a team player. Focused on providing progressive improvements to the company's operations, you will join a company who celebrate success openly and have a great pipeline of growth ahead of them.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve business efficiencies to enhance service delivery, budget effectives, and improved client outcomes
  • Oversee workshop operations and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure that labour and materials are being scheduled and procured in accordance with best practice procedures.
  • Maintain the Ostendo ERP system
  • Prepare and present at monthly staff communication meetings
  • Meet QHSE audit targets through the successful creation and implantation of operational plans
  • Plan and prepare documentation to be sued for end of month invoicing and compliance
  • Review training requirements for staff and assist in developing individual performance plans


Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience in similar role where you have demonstrated achievements in creating and implementing processes and procedures that improve business efficiency
  • A background in Engineering (Electrical, Manufacturing) or Electrical Trade while not essential would be is highly regarded
  • Experience in change management
  • A resilient nature, proactive attitude and pragmatic approach
  • Demonstrated drive to success with the ability to motivate and inspire
  • Tertiary studies in business, business development or operations would be highly desirable
  • Experience creating staff development plans is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor your message to your audience
  • Ability to stay focused, worked across multiple tasks and show strong attention to detail
