Our client is a leading provider of high end Japanese machinery, materials handling & robotic equipment that supply top tier organisations in a range of different markets. Well established, they offer fully engineered turn-key solutions with an impressive track record in quality and safety. They offer high end manufacturing and local production, engineering and technical teams. They have experienced strong growth in recent years and are now seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead a diverse team, and ultimately drive new buisness growth


This is an technical national sales role in which you will represent our client on a national and international scale. You will take pride in providing high level process support on all process equipment to a range of customers which will enable them to operate at the highest efficiency levels possible.

  • Full P+L for the Australian business
  • Preparing budgets, forecasting movement trends for forward planning
  • Managing national sales team, service managewr, and spare parts department manager, including installations, repairs
  • Liaison with sales managers to maintain current product knowledge and awareness
  • Monitoring and maintaining all regulatory requirements ensuring all equipment is regularly tested, and preparing for audits
  • Coordinate and managed large installations across Australia including the engagement of electricians, plumbers and mechanical service contractors
  • Involved in new product deveopment
  • Leading a diverse team of around 20 nationally
  • Strategic planning for future growth
  • Global and Domestic high end, multimillion dollar negotiations


  • A senior sales management background
  • Engineering qualifications - ideally mechatronics
  • Ability to sell a system and not just catalogue products
  • Experienced in working for companies in the high value capital equipment / materials handling / automated guided vehicles / packaging machinery / automation / robotics space previously
  • Melbourne or Sydney based
  • Stable career history


  • Base from $140,000 - 160,000
  • Superannuation (9.50%)
  • Car Allowance - $20K
  • Comms (OTE WELL over $200k)
  • Tools of Trade as Standard
