Role

As National Marketing Manager, you will have the ability to assess, create and implement innovative marketing strategy directly and through a small team of marketing professionals. Developing strong communication & integration with the commercial sales team will be a key focus. Ultimately this is an opportunity to write your own position description and contribute to the next developmental phase of the brand and business.

Key Points

  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director with dotted line to the Global Marketing Director
  • Direct management of a team of 2, with strong product, communications and design backgrounds
  • Working closely with the commercial teams in identifying & implementing state & national product strategies including promotional plans, trade shows, product launches, brand development
  • Product management including developing plans specifically around the Lanko brand growth into the Civil Infrastructure & Commercial Construction markets
  • Create and effect trade based promotional, communication and marketing activities with Bunnings and other retail trade channels
  • Further development of the digital communication and social media platforms
  • Communication with the Global Marketing teams to bring innovation and ideas into the local business


Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in a similar senior marketing management position, with experience leading and directing people
  • Exposure to or experience within building and construction markets and products
  • Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated background of working with sales teams to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating strategies leading to improved business outcomes and or contribution to the businesses targets
  • Related tertiary studies and qualifications, with strong experience with digital media platforms
