Job Description


Our client has a strong presence in the building materials market with many years experience and expertise. They are a well-respected and highly reputable national multi divisional company, who are currently expanding their presence across Australia through the retail, commercial and contractor space.


Working from their southern suburbs based office, this role is a key focus for the business and their continued growth. With a focus on B2B marketing strategies, you will be responsible for a mixture of stratyegy and implemntation., increasing exposure and brand presence through creative digital marketing. As a key figure on the executive team and through collaboration with other leading senior management colleagues, you will be the key driver in digital marketing success.

A selection of responsibilities include...

  • An opportunity to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, on digital marketing strategy
  • A key figure on the executive team committee
  • Build the skills and capabilities of the Marketing Team through training, development and coaching of the existing team
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan for the companies variuous product offerings and routes to market
  • Management & execution of email marketing strategies
  • Oversee website design, development and up-keep
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities
  • Analytics and review of campaigns
  • Generate compelling and relevant content for each of the brands targeting potential customers and supporting sales
  • Manage events including trade shows and dealer meetings
  • Produce marketing management information, including the monthly Management reports
  • Recruitment of junior personnel


  • Relevant education in marketing or business, preferably degree qualified
  • Previous experience working for a building materials manufacturer / supplier - ideally with exposure to flooring, carpets, tiles, rugs or other interior materials
  • Ability to interact at a high level in the business and work collaboratively with other senior leaders
  • Strategic thinker who can also be hands on and work side-by-side with the team
  • A "do-er", and able to work at fast face
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical, energetic, creative, good sense of humour
  • A strong digital marketing focus
  • Exisiting relationship with Bunnings or other hardware retailers
