Our client is a national property association that organise and manage conferences and events specifically related to the property industry. They are a fantastic employer to work for and have a great team culture working in awesome offices in the Sydney CBD.
The role will be the second in charge within a fantastic team that covers sponsorships sales, event management, conferencing administration and event management. You will oversea multiple facets in this role, but your main focus will be on creating and organising the conferences around Australia. These conferences usually take place over a few days and are attended by thousands of people. You will look after the sponsorship sales for the event, organising the speakers, ensuring the marketing is done, project managing the conference and ensuring the finances are in line with expectations. You will manage a team that will assist in all areas but a general overview of each area will be required.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have had experience of organising, managing and delivering large conferences. You will be a competent manager who enjoys developing your team. You will have worked in a multi-faceted role previously and be confident with all areas of sales, marketing, finance, project management and event management. You will be an excellent communicator with a good network within the corporate space.
