Our Client provides process and water treatment chemical and equipment solutions with a customer base that includes major ANZ businesses across a variety of industry sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining existing key customer relationships, taking action to consistently increase customer satisfaction and retention
  • Developing and leading value-added sales strategies
  • Optimising account profitability through product and service initiatives, strategic pricing and P&L analysis
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline of business leads and driving relationships to fruition
  • Training and mentoring our field sales teams on account specific goals
  • Successfully negotiating the renewal of major contracts
  • Maintaining healthy relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations on innovative products, equipment and services
  • Contributing to the development of key account strategies and plans
  • Ensuring that key account sales budgets are achieved through effective management

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong track record in a business to business selling role
  • The ability to negotiate and win new business at the senior management and executive level
  • Previous business development experience within the Water Treatment, Industrial or Chemical market sectors would be an advantage
  • Some exposure to the heavy manufacturing sector would be advantageous
  • Exceptional customer and relationship management skills
  • A passion to exceed client expectations
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong results-oriented with a desire to succeed in a competitive environment
  • The initiative to work independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness and ability to work various hours and travel if required.
