Business Process Analyst

My client is seeking an experienced (+3 years) Business Process Analyst to work on a major operational, organisational and cultural change project - supporting transformation and change work stream in creation of a new program that is helping their government client with their funding / bid process.
You will be responsible for gathering the information / data, modelling the processes, assessing impact of changes to people, systems and processes and creating relevant documentation. 80% of the role will be process mapping / modelling. We expect that the likely successful candidate will have worked for a consulting house previously and will be a chameleon in being able to wear additional consulting 'hats'.
The role:
- Design future state processes considering all elements of process design including safety, effort, skillset required, and communication
- Undertake process analysis to validate that future state processes support the business vision
- Provide concise, clear process documentation to support training, change management, testing and assurance across the program and enable clean handover to the business owner
- Support, promote and champion transformation and change initiatives within the Program to assist others to engage with the program
Key accountabilities:
- Document business processes to internal standards and methodology.
- Support and/or facilitate process design and playback sessions
- Manage information in the program repositories to document management standards
- Undertake analysis to measure future state process effectiveness
- Undertake current and future state gap analysis, assess changes and impacts to ensure that transformation strategy and transition planning is fit for purpose
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and/or process redesign for business improvement changes within an operationally critical environment (Lean 6 Sigma and Visio exposure a bonus)
- Experience developing high quality process documentation during major organisational reform
- High level conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to develop solutions for a range of multifaceted issues
- Clear and concise written and oral communication skills including the ability to present to varying audiences
