About your new role

Reporting into the NSW General Manager and due to business growth within the NSW region the need to onboard an experienced Land Acquisitions Manager has arisen.
This is a business critical role and as such will require the following:

  • Generate, identify and assess acquisition opportunities
  • Establish and maintain effective acquisition networks so as to enable the procurement of suitable development projects.
  • Evaluate and assess development projects that are suitable to the requirements of the State Business Plan.
  • Prepare financial feasibility reports and Land Acquisition Proposal (LAP) documentation for senior management and board approval
  • Prepare Expression of Interest (EOI) and tender documentation.
  • Negotiate acquisition terms, structure and ensure contract documentation is accurate, timely and protects the interests of the Company.

What you'll need to be considered

To be considered for this position, you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. degree in Property/Valuations/Engineering/Business) You'll also have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role combined with a proven track record in property development and experience in brownfield/infill site acquisitions. Candidates should ideally have or be able to establish networks with sophisticated land owners, agents and consultants, have an understanding of relevant development legislation relating to Planning, Building and the Environment, strong communication and interpersonal skills and strong project management skills.
