The types of clients which they look after varies from small to medium sized construction companies all the way to the top tier 1 mining businesses on a global level. They truly offer all their clients a stress free platform when it comes to any form equipment, offering both hiring options but also reasonably priced purchase solutions. This business has strong stance in the Australian market with offices in every major city, my client is known as an employer of choice.
Due to rapid growth in the Australian marketplace the chance for a skilled business development manager has become available in the state of the art Brisbane office space. This position will see you targeting SME construction/contracting businesses & mining/quarry companies. What makes this role that little bit easier is they already have well developed network in this space with all qualified leads provided to you. This a dual role of account management but also driving new business for any potential clients which they may not be looking after currently. The successful candidate will paid a salary of $50K-$60K + super + very high commissions which would put you on an OTE of $100K + in your first year.
The ideal candidate will just need to be coming from a strong sales background 1-2 years min within the B2B space, you will not need to be coming from any particular industry. As this role has a component of both account management & business development demonstrations of looking after key customers and chasing down new business is a must. My client is looking for someone who is proactive but also tenacious and not scared to get out there and give it a red hot crack.
