Our Client is at the forefront of leading worldwide logistics sector. Globally they provide total logistics services to about 1,000 customers in such diverse industries as electronics, machinery, chemicals, oil refining and construction with approximately 51 branches in the world.
Our Client is keen to bring in an import and export freight operator to coordinate international cargo operations across Australia and New Zealand. This position requires an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to co-work with other departments in a third party logistics environment.

For the position, you will be:

  • Co-ordinate import/export with suppliers and customers
  • Prepare & issue appropriate internal & external documentation
  • Monitoring cargo availability and status
  • Lodge Sea/Air cargo report
  • Dealing with customers and keeping them updated with progress
  • Liaising with Brokerage Team, Australian Customs, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport company, overseas agents, customers, suppliers and internal staff
  • Building ongoing relationships with clients and internal departments
  • Closing job and analyse its results
  • Ensuring the company's strong image and high level of creditability is maintained at all time
  • Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required

For this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, freight forwarding, or equivalent programs
  • Knowledge in planning and mass management
  • Proven experience across Import and Export operations
  • Advanced MS office skills
  • Be well-presented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills preferably in English, Chinese, Korean, or other languages
  • A proactive "can-do" attitude
  • Problem-solving abilities and excellent customer care
