My client is a national leader in the industrial packaging space looking after various different product lines ranging from builder's film, industrial strapping, bin liners, bubble wrap, clinical waste bags & safety protective clothing selling various different industrial applications. The value ad which my client bases their success on is the quality products which they offering the Australian market but also the teams proactiveness towards their clients.
With rapid growth throughout the Melbourne office space the position of business development manager has become available to take over the high demanding accounts. The role will be based out of the state of the art Melbourne office looking after they key accounts in the high demanding portfolio of clients but also developing new business to add to the portfolio. The role has a primary objective of ensuring growth and development of the account base whilst maintaining the level of service and delivery the business unit is known for. As this will be a senior role in the Melbourne office you work hand in hand with the National sales manager implementing new initiatives to make the state successful, however you will also enjoy complete autonomy in the position. This role will be paying a base figure of $70-$90K + car allowance + super + lucrative comm structure.
The ideal candidate will need to be coming from a strong sales background preferably from a packaging background within the B2B market. As this role is focused on looking after major accounts you will need proven demonstrations of doing so. If you have sold to similar industrial markets in the past I recommend in still applying as this is the next best.
