Our client is a global name in the world of high end commercial furniture. They manufacture in a wide range of loose furniture, workstations and accessories that can be seen in many blue chip and prestigious office environments across numerous countries. Due to a recent reshuffle, that are seeking a talented A&D focused sales professional from within the commercial interiors market to relocate and join their existing and talented sales team

Position

Undertaking a major role within the commercial growth strategy of the business, you will work closely with the State Sales Manager and existing Business Development team and be a key representative at industry events and entertainment functions. Cementing key strategic relationships with "A list clients" in the Architectural & Design & Commercial Builder space to secure new projects in the market. Essentially your mandate is to maximise the market share and grow the annual revenue base.

Duties

  • Build value added relationships with key Design practices through presentation of workplace research findings and new product innovation
  • Present project specific product solutions to Senior Designers, Associates
  • Develop and implement strategic account development plans
  • Key representative at industry functions, client entertainment, marketing initiatives
  • Success will equal lucrative earnings through commissions & bonuses, and mid term progression opportunities into team management role or senior client strategy & development role

Candidate:

  • An external sales background with experience selling furniture, workstations or related high end architectural products
  • Strong network of contacts with architects, designers, projects managers and end users
  • Strong Organisational, planning and negotiating skills
  • A polished presenter - articulate and well presented
  • Experienced in tendering for and winning projects
  • Tertiary qualificaton preferred
  • Able to relocate to Sydney (cbd offices)
