Our Client is a fast-growing family owned business specialised in providing security solutions to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Our Client provides Unarmed Security Guard and Patrol service, Alarm Monitoring, Access control and CCTV Nationally.
The primary role of the Business Development Manager will be to prospect new clients within the Construction industry, by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.

  • Prospect for new clients using a variety of techniques, including cold calling and telephone solicitation.
  • Maintain a current list of prospects and detailed sales activity in
  • Develop pricing and business development strategies in collaboration with and under direction of the CEO.
  • Participate in trade associations and trade shows, and assist in other promotional efforts.
  • Make sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Develop and submit proposals and responses to prospect RFQs and RFPs after obtaining pricing and specifications approval from management, as appropriate.
  • Develop sales and marketing programs and systems to support the Company's strategic direction
  • Develop local market research and competitor analysis

To be successful in this role:

  • Have minimum of 2 years selling security services and products to the Building/Construction space
  • Must be highly motivated and energetic
  • Able to Sales Guard,Mobile Patrol.
  • Able to design and present to corporate clients (Alarm, CCTV, Intercom, Access Control, Locking Systems, physical barrier, alarm monitoring)
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Have the ability to communicate on a high level, both written and verbally
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Have an extensive understanding of the available products (Alarm, CCTV, Intercom, Access Control, Locking Systems, physical barrier, alarm monitoring)
  • Experience in the security industry - installing and maintaining a variety of security systems including CCTV, alarm, access control and intercom systems
