Our client is a global name in the world of high end educational & commercial furniture. They manufacture a wide range of loose furniture, storage systems, shelving systems, workstations and accessories that can be seen in many blue chip and prestigious office & education environments across numerous countries. Due to organic growth and continuous success, that are seeking a talented Education or Architectural focused sales/account manager from within the commercial interiors market to join their existing and talented QLD sales team

Position:
Undertaking a major role within the commercial growth strategy of the business, you will work closely with the State Sales Manager and existing Business Development team and be a key representative at industry events and entertainment functions. Cementing key strategic relationships with "A list clients" in the Sydney Architectural & Design space as well as the primary and secondary education field to secure new projects in the market. Essentially your mandate is to maximise the market share and grow the annual revenue base.

Duties

  • Secure an existing pipeline of major projects
  • Identify new project opportunities and leveraging existing relationships
  • Manage the project sales lifecycle from spec to order
  • Tender presentation and submission for major projects
  • Key representative at industry functions & client entertainment events


Candidate:

  • An external sales background with experience selling loose furniture or workstations
  • Strong network of contacts within the educational sector, architects, designers, projects managers and end users
  • Strong Organisational, planning and negotiating skills
  • A polished presenter - articulate and well presented
  • Experienced in tendering for and winning projects
  • An energetic and tenacious HUNTER with a desire to build their brand


Provide us with the above skills and the benefits will include:

  • $65,000 - $90,000 Base (negotiable dependent on experience)
