Job Description

  • $80k - $90k + Super + Comms + Tools of the Trade

Our Client is a market leader in the modular building industry, providing complete customer solutions through a unique capability in building hire, sale, manufacture, construction, project management and managed accommodation. Based in their Dandenong South office, they are looking for a passionate and committed person to drive forward sales and increase revenue in Victoria.

Key role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing key companies and projects primarily in the building and construction market.
  • Exploring business development opportunities in line with national growth strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with various teams to ensure key KPI's and growth strategies are met.
  • Generation and conversion of leads through tender and project resources, with a planned approach to target new customers
  • Bring fresh new ideas to the table with a goal for best of class practices brought to life
  • Maintaining regular contact with our valued existing customer base and industry influencers.
  • Lead targeted marketing activities including attendance at relevant trade shows, and seminars etc.
  • Active participation within the team and sales meetings providing updates on progress;
  • Reporting activities, entry of quotes into system and maintenance of customer relationship management (CRM) database.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 3 years in a business development role with a focus on exceptional customer service. Building and Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Sound business and commercial acumen to enable confident decision making around the risks, viability and broader business impacts of potential work.
  • Proven track record of developing sales and customer partnerships
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database experience
  • Demonstrated resilience, tenacity and professionalism.
  • A proactive attitude and mature work ethic that will role model and drive professional workplace behaviours aligned with our values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders which will also foster productive working relationships with the Operations group.
  • Ability to be flexible, agile and "muck in and help"
