Our Client is Australia's supply chain specialist operating an integrated national logistics network in major cities and remote locations throughout the country. They specialise in four major areas of service provision: Freight Management, Warehousing and Distribution, Global Freight Forwarding and Mining, Construction, Oil and Gas
About the role:
Do you excel in delighting your customers and outshine your competitors with your unrivalled customer service abilities? If so, there is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and ambitious Account Manager to join the team at their NSW Branch. The role will primarily be to actively manage, grow and retain an existing portfolio of our clients' accounts and to gain new/additional business.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Grow and service a portfolio of accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction and retention;
  • Manage and escalate when required issues relating to all aspects of accounts under your control;
  • Ensure accounts in your portfolio are visited in accordance with established criteria;
  • Review and analyse on a regular periodic basis accounts under your control and report to the National Account Manager;
  • Participate in regular sales initiatives;
  • Provide the necessary information and/or training to accounts within your portfolio; and
  • Actively seek and report competitor activity and industry trends.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbally;
  • The ability to solve complex problems providing strategic solutions;
  • Influence and persuasiveness in a selling environment;
  • Confident presentation sills, with the ability to deliver high-impact proposals to a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Process Management skills;
  • Time management skills to ensure work outcomes; and
  • Technical competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
