Job Description

Our client is a global leading supplier of high end, luxury textiles, vinyl's, leathers and wall finishes for interiors including workplace, public housing, healthcare, hospitality, public space, transport and residential spaces.

Spanning over 3 decades they work across Australia, New Zealand and have recently extended by means of distribution into the U.K and Europe, the U.S.A and Canada, South East Asia, India, Africa and the Middle East.

They now require an Account Manager in Brisbane.

Role Responsibilities

  • Present all of the current & future products using all information and structural presentations provided
  • Precisely target market to furniture suppliers and manufacturers, architectural and design firms along with associated trades (both new and existing trades)
  • Focus on securing specification and obtaining the orders from contracts, therefore achieving sales budgets
  • Compose pricing/tenders along with the supply of installation and technical specification sheets as required
  • Optional distribution and maintenance of company samples in A & D libraries, high end retailers, upholsters and manufacturers
  • Commitment to follow up with clients and present to consultant as required to endure customer satisfaction
  • Forecast of 25 notable meetings per week (project presentations, prospects, project follow up)
  • Work alongside all company staff to cleverly expand the business
  • Report to all management as required
  • Issue senior staff with feedback, market trends and competitive intelligence
  • Use and publicise company's social media along with maintenance of company's database and reporting style
  • You must be flexible with your time as you will be required to attend travel shows, travel, educational lectures and conferences (both in and out of working hours)
  • Occasionally take part in showroom duties
  • Be professional in appearance and presentation at all times whilst also ensuring you are enjoying your work

Role Requirements

  • Must hold a thorough knowledge of the design industry and be comfortable in using the company's social media platforms
  • Willing to participate in industry events
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and must be able to present information to colleagues and management
  • Must be able to take a brief off a client whilst identifying all needs and coming up with solutions to all requests
  • Ability to constantly update and maintain company database of clients and prospects information
  • Energetic and positive attitude towards clients and colleague's essential
  • Full, clean Qld license and full Australian workers rights
