About the role Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing new accounts (20%) and managing a portfolio of existing accounts (80%). Role responsibilities include:Constantly growing new business and customersManaging existing customers and their needs with regular monthly ordersManaging sales volume growth, as well as profitabilityVisiting customers regularly to understand their business to be able to serve them bestManaging stock to avoid ageing stock and stock out issuesFollowing up payments each month and ensure up to dateSharing market and technical information with the sales team Best suitable candidate3-5 years experience in front line sales or technical sales roleOutstanding track record in developing and growing new businessSelf-motivation, persistence and a can-do attitudeProactive approach in serving our customersAbility to build strong customer relationships and strong commercial acumenExceptional communication and presentation skillsAble to travel interstate or overseas once a month for one weekKnowledge of polymer, chemical or similar industry would be advantageous.
