Phone and online-based sales role, taking leads from an expression of interest to close and provide support to customers who are seeking new opportunities to upsell.
- Secure new business opportunities arising from incoming leads (phone/online/email)
- Ability to secure new business opportunities through outbound sales as and when required
- Move prospects through the sales cycle from lead to close. Many opportunities will close in a single call and others will require multi-day follow-up
- Ensure prospect and customer data is maintained in company systems (e.g. CRM)
- Ensure handover of closed customers to the Service Delivery team, work with the Service Delivery team to manage customer expectations, on-time service delivery and consistent achievement of service level targets
- Provide exemplary service levels to customers by being responsive and proactive
- Previous inbound and outbound calling experience to both cold and warm clients
- Sales, Account Management or Customer Service experience in the Telco or IT industry
- Ability to manage a fast-paced working environment with multiple opportunities on the go
- Results orientated
- Effective verbal and written communication skills suitable for the Australian business environment
