Our client is a market leader within their niche space in the building materials industry, who design supply and install a range of aesthetically pleasing interior products. They have a strong record in quality and after service, with a fun and all welcoming team. Recent projects stretch from tier 1 commercial buildings, education, retail and new hospitals. Recently they have undergone new developments and have grown substantially. An opportunity has now been created for an experienced, hands on and technically focused Sales Manager to join their NSW team


Reporting to the GM of Sales, this is a unique all-encompassing role in which you will form a pivotal part of the NSW Sales team. You will be tasked with mentoring, training and developing another sales rep, whilst also expected to tender, maintain and win large scale commercial projects in NSW. You will work with existing and new architectural firms and interior desaigners with the aim of specifying our clients fabulous range of technical interior products. You will leverage the interstate sales, estimating and customer service teams to win business and meet realistic sales targets. You will also spend 1 day a week in the office, interoperating and designing tailored solutions to meet your clients brief, so a technical background is required.


  • A technical sales or sales management background within building products space
  • Major Projects - tendering and winning projects
  • Strong network of architects and designers
  • The ability to read technical drawings / architectural plans
  • A confident & polished salesperson with a strategic approach to business development
  • Well versed at putting together specifications, quotations and presentations based on clients specific requirements
  • Stable career history
  • Candidates that have sold a technical product such as cladding, glazing / windows, partitioning, doors, lighting, retaining walls, insulated panels, ceilings or other related building materials will be of high interest
  • Given this role only has one report, I'd be interested in speak to top forming sales candidates that are ready to make a leap into a leadership role


  • $100-120k depending on experience
