With manufacturing and distribution sites in VIC, they provide a range of Energy Efficient Building Solutions, focused on the windows, doors and acoustic walls space, that are highly desirable with both builder and architect alike.

Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity exists for a talented Specification Manager for their QLD division

Position:

This is a multi-faceted account management, technical and specification role

  • Working with architects and consultants on design concepts, briefs, tenders and specifications up until project handover

  • Delivering fast, accurate and relevant briefs and information from the clients back to the production / engineering team

  • Deliver products and presentations to architects and builders on a regular basis, inline with the National Specification Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a 'market map' of all major architects, contractors and builders,understanding their relationships to each other and current purchasing practices
  • Develop effective relationships with key architects, designers, engineers and developers to ensure specification of materials are maximised
  • Develop Account Plans for the Region's top 10 architects and Top 5 commercial builders
  • Generate demand for companys products and systems among architects, contractors and builders in the commercial segment
  • Writing and developing CPD courses and presentations

Unique products, existing clients and a high level of support will ensure the OTE is highly achievable.

Candidate

  • Proven success specifying a technical building product via architects & engineers
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial and residential construction industry
  • Ability to Interpret architectural plans and drawings
  • Good - strong IT skills
  • Ability to work from home and work autonomously
  • Ideally, qualifications in design, engineering or architecture
  • Candidates that have specific sales and design passion in the following markets - Architectural Glazing, Louvres, Windows, Acoustic, Roofing Systems, Structural Timber, Wall or Ceiling Panels, Facades, Cladding, lighting or furniture would be highly sought after
