Hills district
Established over 25 years ago with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane our client specialises in Commercial Construction and Refurbishment with projects across each state. They are proud of their internal upskilling training sessions and take an immense amount of care to ensure that their employees are given everything they need to succeed. With a busy year ahead they are currently searching for an experienced Site Manager to join them.
With the recent award of a new Education project in the Hills District (Western Sydney) the company has a need for a new Site Manager for the project
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct toolbox meetings
- Liaise between all parties to ensure efficient work between suppliers and sub-contractors
- Be able to forward plan and co-ordinate with the client
- Monitor the sub-contract trades
- Make sure all OH&S procedures are adhered too
- Ensure the highest level of communication is maintained throughout the project
Required experience / Preferred candidate:
- Trade or Tertiary Qualified in a Building related discipline
- Experience using Aconex would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate site personnel
- Strong understanding of WHS and site safety
