Site Manager - Apartments
Our client
This privately owned Australian Tier-3 builder is looking to engage an individual with an excellent understanding of apartment building, to work on a large 80 unit residential apartments build. This builder currently has 8 projects running making this the 9th set to commence. With more projects in the pipeline. Our client has a strong reputation for delivering quality in the high rise aged care and residential apartments space.
The position
The successful site manager will be heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the project. overseeing all site activity ensuring safe quality build on time and to budget. The site manager will be supported by a capable Project manager and CA
Requirements for this position are:
- Minimum 5 years site experience a site manager on projects up to $30M - $40M
- Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, structures and finishing a must
- Experience working for the residential unit builder.
- Understanding of working on multi-story buildings.
- Ability to manage sub-contractors and labor underneath you.
- Understanding of site set out, site diary, OH & S, and general duties for running a construction site.
- Good knowledge of sub-contractors within the Sydney area.
- Excellent communication/language skills - liaison with other areas will be required
- $250k- $270k Pack
