Established in 2005, this group has quickly become one of the most sought-after builders in Metropolitan Melbourne, working on projects up to $100 million and providing a transparent approach to their clients. They have developed trust and long-standing partnerships with their clients as they always provide projects on time and within budget.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the key objectives of the Site Manager are:

  • To maintain a safe, tidy and orderly work environment always

  • Produce all assigned projects by the agreed completion date

  • To ensure there are minimal defects with each project

  • Manage sub-contractors on site and ensure they are following the schedule and meeting deadlines

  • Co-ordinate the activities of all subcontractors by regular briefings and checks

  • Daily reviews of project and timelines

  • Ensure all aspects of each assigned site is consistent with the HSEQ framework

  • Ensure all site personnel have the correct licenses and are inducted properly

  • Ensure the quality of workmanship and materials supplied by subcontractors meet the requirements of the contract documents

  • Work closely with the Project Manager

The Successful Individual

  • Will be trade qualified in a relevant field

  • Have strong time management and people management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Will be able to manage multiple sites at once

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within the construction industry within project management

  • Proven estimation experience within building industry

  • Experience delivering multi-storey residential and commercial projects on time and within budget

  • Strong leadership and management experience

  • Will work within time frames and deadlines effectively

  • Implement all aspects of health and safety

  • Will be well organised, motivated, honest and have a high level of integrity
