This National Event Production company are one of the most successful and well-established one-stop-shops for lighting, rigging and audio / visual solutions for events and conferences across Australia. With an expanding Sydney and Melbourne team, they currently have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to help service new and existing clients through new revenue streams.

The Role

Sitting in a team of 10 within the Production Sales Team (the technical arm) in their Melbourne office, a typical day will involve:
  • Contacting and networking with existing clients to investigate requirements
  • Preparing quotes, bookings, bids and tenders - consulting at all stages of the process and establishing long-term relationships and multi-year contracts
  • Upselling and cross-selling to produce a completely tailor-made offering
  • Liaise with Project Managers to ensure on-site logistics run smoothly
  • Ensure all documentation is issued and received correctly, and all supporting admin carried out
  • Following up for customer feedback and invoicing

The Ideal Person
  • Previous Business Development / Account Management experience within a production supplier (e.g. audio, lighting, rigging, TV, LED screen)
  • A passion for innovation and new technology
  • Strong rapport building and negotiation skills
  • High-energy, confident go-getter able to manage a large portfolio of clients
