Job Description
Our client is an international Supply Chain Saas provider who are looking for one of the first members of the team on the ground here in Australia.
The Role
As only the person on the ground in Australia, this highly autonomous role will see you helping them build market position in the local market, establish enterprise level relationships, and take responsibility for all communication across Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead all sales activities and account management
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation, negotiation and closing deals
- Develop engaging proposals, presentations and demos
- Meet with prospective partners, understand requirements, and assess potential profitability and viability of partnering
- Work alongside internal teams to establish requirements for exhibitions, marketing collateral, lead generation and events
- Team reporting and weekly meetings
- Assist in finding, training and managing a team of sales executives
- Keep up to date with current affairs and represent the business at industry events
Requirements
- Proven track record within Business Development at a high level
- A basic knowledge of the Supply Chain industry
- Existing relationships with key decision-makers in the Supply Chain / logistics industry would be advantageous
- High degree of autonomy, and a real self-starter proactive attitude
