We are working with a leading provider of retail and delivery technology across the Australia and New Zealand markets. They provide an extensive range of technical solutions catering predominately for mid-market and enterprise-level clients. Their extensive range is supported by some of the most trusted solutions vendors.

In response to continued growth the organisation is actively canvassing quality applicants to head up the solution sales as Principal, as an executive-level individual contributor, with the emphasis on championing high-value solution offerings to existing and new clients.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for the profitably growing the business within your mid-market and enterprise accounts through the development of high level business relationships, strategies and execution of aligned tactics. You will work closely with Head of Marketing and Go To Market / Product to formulate and executive sales strategies. You will also work with to properly manage strategic plans for each client and coordinate activities to maximise profitability. You will have a proven track record liaising with clients and senior management with the ability to uncover an organisation's long-term plan and translate that into a winning solution for the company. You will be responsible for overseeing detailed account planning and sales forecasting, negotiating contracts an and all pricing resulting from long term commitments.

Your expert knowledge of the range of cloud-based solutions and understanding of the local industry and business context in which these solutions work is essential. You will have effective communication and stakeholder management skills and adept at collaborating across all levels. You are highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously and display an elevated level of professionalism and resilience and able to achieve in a dynamic and target-driven environment. Most importantly, you will be held accountable for the profitability and overall success of the solution sales team.

Skills & Experience

  • 5 years + professional solution sales experience
  • Must be new business focused & strong hunter ability
  • 5 years + SaaS experience highly regarded
  • Proven at a strategic level with clients with the ability to secure long-term commitments
  • Managed high-value propositions into both mid-market & enterprise-level clientele
  • Experience in a subscription sale environment will be highly advantageous
  • Ability to convert transactional relationships to more high-value solutions
