Due to rapid growth, there is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join a well-known business as a Sales Consultant in the FMCG wholesale food space. This is a business that appreciates sustainability, provenance and quality. They are seeking a like mined individual that has a passion for great food and restaurants, as well as a proven track record of new business generation and maintaining valuable client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing clients and grow new customers in Melbourne's Northern and Eastern suburbs
- Support sales to retailers by coordinating in-store tasting and promotional events
- Participate in local and interstate trade events
- Report all customer contacts through CRM
- Meet and exceeding sales targets and set KPI's
You will be:
- Experienced in food & beverage sales
- A chef or hospitality professional is desirable
- A strong communicator
- An enthusiastic individual with a positive approach and manner
- Able to manage multiple priorities at once
- Previous experience in the food wholesale industry will be an advantage
