Sales Consultant - Custom Home builder - South Dandenong 

I am currently representing a reputable custom home builder who are looking for a driven and focused sales rep to join their team based in South Dandenong. With the business growing rapidly there has become a need for an experienced consultant to focus on their Bayside Display homes valued at 800k-2M$. If you have worked in a similar real estate role and have a passion for property and sales then this is the opportunity for you.

You will be responsible for Sales, Marketing, Display home management, Client service and relationship management. The requirements of each are outlined below.

• Field new sales enquiry – all calls/emails to be returned same day
• Manage the Client relationship from initial contact through to payment of deposit/signing of EDA including booking of
meetings and all email and phone communications
• Coordinate in house resources (Sales Admin, Sales Host,Building Designer and Sales Estimator) to deliver the best
possible outcome promptly and to budget for our Clients
• Plan and execute in line with a defined and proven sales process to step Clients through a design and sales journey
while being methodical in your approach and having a high attention to detail
• Order, collate and review key design inputs in advance of the Design Brief Meeting with the Client (site survey, PSI,
planning overlays etc)
• Review design concepts to ensure compliance with Client design brief and budget
• Attend Design Brief Meetings and Design Presentation Meetings with the Building Designer to establish design brief and
budget and subsequently present the design concept to the Client
• Follow up and collate feedback on the design from the Client
• Ensure Custom Home Proposals (CHP) are thorough and professional and accurately reflect Client requirements
• Ensure the Building Designer also reviews the CHP for design intent and site constraints
• Personally present and explain CHP to each Client
• Communicate with Clients in a professional, friendly, proactive and effective manner to expedite the sales process


• Proactively assist the Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement innovative marketing initiatives which encourage
sales enquiry and brand awareness
• Ensure marketing collateral stocks are maintained at all times
• Assist in review and improvement of website content
• Maintain a keen and current understanding of the market and our competitors
• Assist with continuous improvements of design, specification, finishes etc and assist CEO to ensure display homes,
marketing collateral and all company documentation is reflective of changes in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure full compliance with Trade Practices Act and all other relevant legislation as it relates to marketing materials and
activities and at all times ensure marketing is clear and concise and not misleading or misrepresentative

Display Home Management

• Assume responsibility for the staffing, maintenance and presentation of  display homes
• Share staffing duties with other Custom Home Consultants and Sales Hosts to ensure coverage during all opening hours
• Ensure display home signage is maintained clean and easily viewed by passing traffic

Relationship Management

• Ensure compliance with the Sales & Design Team Service Level Agreement at all times
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all staff and consultants
• Ability to build and maintain quality relationships with all staff and our Clients

Client Service
• Deliver on the company vision of “Happy Clients in Great Homes” for every Client
• Deliver on the Quality and Service commitments for every Client
• Ensure that their Clients are treated with respect and their queries and concerns are appropriately addressed with
a sense of urgency (all calls/emails returned within agreed timeframes)
• Contribute to the development of the businesses brand by seeking at all times to exceed Client expectations
• At all times act with integrity and honesty in line with company values

Occupational Health and Safety
• At all times maintain a high standard of OH&S in the company and in the field and ensure compliance at all
times with company policies, OH&S Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice
