What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating construction activities ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
- Coordinate subcontractor's offsite or preconstruction deliverables.
- Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and quality assurance.
- Compilation and control of project documents including maintenance of a control register, ensuring the prompt issue of documentation to the respective parties.
- Promote a safe working environment.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management/Engineering or a similar discipline.
- 5+ years experience in a similar position, with operational experience delivering medium to large scale commercial projects.
- Good understanding of project planning and programming, cost management, contract administration and document control.
- Flawless communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships.
- Natural leadership ability, with the desire to drive and motivate an already high-performing team.
- Solutions focused, with an ability to come up with creative solutions for any on-site issues that may arise.
