My client is an established house builder with a well know brand, with an office located close to Melbourne's CBD. They build a range of homes at varied price points, with options to suit the differing budgets of their diverse clientele. About the role
They are looking for an experienced building coordinator or pre-site administrator, who will handle all administration of the project after the sale is made, until the project goes to site. You will be working for a volume housebuilder and managing a portfolio of ongoing projects, ensuring customer service is of the highest standard until you pass the project over to the on-site team. Duties will include:
- Obtaining permits
- Keeping customers regularly updated with the progress of their project, and answering enquiries
- Maintain and update client files to ensure a smooth process
- Preparation of contracts
- Liaise with the clients lender/mortgage broker as required
About you
Excellent customer service skills, an organized approach to work, and time management ability will be key strengths that will allow you to succeed in this role. To be considered you must have:
- At least 12 months experience in a similar position for a Vic based volume housebuilder
- An understanding of contracts, and ability to explain them to clients
- Experience preparing applications for land and finance approvals
- Experience of applying for building permits
