Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following;
- Customer service: must be highly motivated by helping others resolve problems.
- Responsible for quickly restoring user to perform normal functions on users Laptop, application, IT Tools.
- Responsible for diagnosing, assessing, appropriately circumventing and/or finding remedies for incidents and service requests
- Monitor progress on escalated problems, keeps customers informed and ensures resolution
- Trains users on a limited number of software applications
- Provides users with routine information on system updates, errors and features.
- Proactively provides advice to prevent service incidents.
- Automates and eliminated recurring problems by creating self-help documents, Innovative scripts.
- Working knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware – MAC and Windows, PC operating systems, and communications
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for Windows Operating Systems and MAC Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of telephony and related equipment
- Working knowledge of workforce and business applications such as MS office, VPN software, BlueJeans, Encryption, exchange,etc
- Working knowledge of hardware and software installation procedures and techniques.
- Working knowledge of Audio/Video support
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT experience
- Desktop support experience in a Global Enterprise Environment.
- Experience with LANDesk, CASPER, desktop backup software (e.g. inSync), Bitlocker, Windows and MAC desktop OS, Windows, Linux Server OS, a plus.
- Experience supporting, operating and maintaining desktops and servers.
- Excellent customer service focus and analytical problem solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks, shift priorities as needed and maintain schedules
