Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following;
  • Customer service: must be highly motivated by helping others resolve problems.
  • Responsible for quickly restoring user to perform normal functions on users Laptop, application, IT Tools.
  • Responsible for diagnosing, assessing, appropriately circumventing and/or finding remedies for incidents and service requests
  • Monitor progress on escalated problems, keeps customers informed and ensures resolution
  • Trains users on a limited number of software applications
  • Provides users with routine information on system updates, errors and features.
  • Proactively provides advice to prevent service incidents.
  • Automates and eliminated recurring problems by creating self-help documents, Innovative scripts. 
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware – MAC and Windows, PC operating systems, and communications
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for Windows Operating Systems and MAC Operating Systems
  • Working knowledge of telephony and related equipment
  • Working knowledge of workforce and business applications such as MS office, VPN software, BlueJeans, Encryption, exchange,etc
  • Working knowledge of hardware and software installation procedures and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Audio/Video support
The successful candidate will have the following experience & qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of IT experience
  • Desktop support experience in a Global Enterprise Environment.
  • Experience with LANDesk, CASPER, desktop backup software (e.g. inSync), Bitlocker, Windows and MAC desktop OS, Windows, Linux Server OS, a plus.
  • Experience supporting, operating and maintaining desktops and servers.
  • Excellent customer service focus and analytical problem solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks, shift priorities as needed and maintain schedules
