Job Description
With over 70 years of combined experience, my clients is an expert in delivering high quality, tailored, turnkey projects in the commercial sector including office, retail, hospitality, education, government and industrial FIT OUT projects.
My client is looking to bring on a Foreman to focus on newly acquired commercial fit out projects in Sydney typically valued up to $3M.
Main Duties
- Management and supervision of site staff and sub-contractors
- Ensuring quality of construction is to the company standard
- Develop and deliver progress reports and troubleshoot problem areas
- Look after improving operations, decreasing turnaround times and streamlining work processes
- Liaising with the client and their consultants
- Motivation of the site team and sub-contractors
Experience
- Track record working on commercial office, retail and hospitably fit outs.
- Comfortable supervising projects up to $2-3M
- Ambitious individual with strong communication skills
- Any client facing experience with local councils or authorities is a bonus
- A minimum of 2-3 yrs in a supervisory/foreman or leading hand position
- Must have exposure to the commercial fit-out sector
- Must have exposure to the medical fit-out sector
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong and driven personality and be willing to learn
- MUST have experience working on projects in Australia (Ideally SYD)
