Job Description
My client has a thriving studio in Sydney and they are now expanding to open a Melbourne Studio. So, if you are someone with a start-up drive, and would like the opportunity to be one of the founding team members, then keep reading!
About the studio
Driven by design and user insight to challenge the status quo, this studio ensures better opportunities and experiences for all through their work. This studio prides themselves on the consistent output of excellent design while prioritising work-life balance for all.
Projects
My client has many diverse and exciting projects under their belt - ranging from Great Australian landmarks to award-winning sustainability projects. In addition, they have some exciting new projects, including the biggest build-to-rent project in the southern hemisphere, commercial, residential, and mixed-use urban renewal projects.
The Team
You will be part of an integrated design practice of intelligent, creative, and dedicated individuals. This is a multi-disciplinary team, so you will also be working closely with the directors, interior designers, landscape architects, the marketing team, and the people & culture team.
You will be lead with a progressive approach to design, collaborative work environment, and workplace flexibility. The work is fast paced - so we are looking for people who love figuring out stuff and think big picture - but are also across the detail and are always looking for opportunities to drive fantastic design.
About you and the role
The team in Melbourne will be self-starters and relish the opportunity to be the first team on the ground in the new Melbourne Studio. You will receive plenty of support from the Sydney studio but will need to be motivated and work autonomously. You will be experienced in design, developing critical aspects of a building using Revit and building information to streamline production. You must use the software to audit, test, and finesse a design ambition. You will be a team player and love working in a collaborative environment.
