Construction Manager | Fit-out and Refurb | Kogarah
The Company:
With over 20 years' experience working specifically within the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector, this well-established contractor pride themselves on delivering professional and a collaborative approach to both new and live operational sites.
The Senior Management team play an integral part within each project and each project is provided with a targeted personnel management plan. Due to an increase in projects and a departure of a staff member, the business is now on the look out for a highly experienced and qualified Construction Manager to take leadership in the delivery of all construction projects.
The Role:
The key objectives of the Construction Manager are:
- To ensure all projects comply with contractual program
- Ensuring all defects are rectified prior to completion of each project
- Financially achieve a Gross Profit Margin of 20% on all projects
- Establishing KPI's with all Site Managers and Project Managers
- Always working to secure new tender opportunities
- Manage and mentor site staff
- Manage and maximise employee and client satisfaction
- Project delivery in line with quality standards and time frames
- Project delivery within budget guidelines
- Managing sub-contractors
The Successful Candidate:
This will be a challenging role however will suit someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Construction or Building related degree or diploma
- Majority of your career spent on site delivering fit-out and refurbishment projects in various capacities
- Understanding of specifications and drawings
- Experience in projects from $500k - $20M
- Experience working within Health and Education sector is essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar senior project delivery roles
- Stable long-term employment history within family businesses
- Long term vision
- Strong work ethic
- Strong leadership and management skills
- An ability to motivate a team to achieve outcomes
- Strong financial acumen
