Civil Designer - Mixed portfolio - Tier 1 consultancy - Sydney

Denovo are currently representing a T1 consultancy to find an experienced Civil Designer to join their Transport and Civil infrastructure team. Our client is an industry leading expert who focuses on multiple different civil and structural projects, always with a focus and a key competency of quality. Our client is willing to pay up to 120K for the right person

Successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated design/drafting experience within a consulting environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering will be highly regarded though not essential
  • Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD and 12D
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
  • A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development

Successful candidates will be required to:

  • Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations
  • Civil engineering design for a variety of projects including roads/highways, urban development and other civil infrastructure using 12D and AutoCAD
  • Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards
  • Managing deliverables of a project including quality control and the coordination of drafting staff
  • Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards
  • Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded
