With ambitious goals driving them through 2020, they now have a position for a talented Business Development Manager from within the Managed Services industry to ride (and help to cultivate) this wave of growth:
The role
Sitting within their small Melbourne team, you will have complete ownership of the Victoria territory - a highly lucrative but very untapped market, where a typical day might involve:
- Discovery meetings via phone and video-conferencing to uncover business needs of SME decision-makers
- 30/30/30 split between new business, account management and internal teamwork
- Market research to identify lucrative sales opportunities and new markets
- Regular contact with existing clients to maintain long-term relationships and after-care
- Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets
- Pipeline management from new lead through to completed sales
- Proven success within IT Managed Services
- Experience in end-to-end sales and new business development
- Highly tenacious, problem-solving mindset who thrives on challenges
- A clear passion for IT and cloud technology
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and breathe life into finished solutions
- 30 years’ combined expertise of 3 companies merged into 1
- Flexible base salary / commission split
