About the Business:
Exclusive to Denovo, our client is an outdoor focused travel tech company that is taking the market by storm. They have just acquired two new companies within the industry and are on the hunt for a new outdoor loving sales professional.
About the Role:
Dealing with everything outdoors, you will be responsible for prospecting for new business, cross-selling and upselling their e-comm base, as well as achieving KPI's. You will mainly be selling into camping grounds, glamping grounds, camping equipment companies, caravan sites, national parks and tourism operators.
- Outbound B2B calling and selling
- Consultative selling approach with a mid-range sales cycle.
- Educating customers to the benefits of their E-comm products
- Keeping up to date with competitors' movements and industry trends
- Ability to speak to a range of clientele - C level execs to park managers
The Successful Candidate:
As a lover of everything outdoors you want to share that passion with others, and as a experienced sales person, you can use this channel to connect with others in the industry. You are the consultative selling type, really digging into the needs of the customers and being able to tailor your service to provide solutions to their needs.
- At least 2 years B2B sales experience
- Confident on the phone, cold calling prospects.
- Sales in the outdoor industry OR a genuine passion for it.
- Consultative selling type, understanding the importance of consistent touch points.
- Articulate in your approach to be able to explain the benefits of the E-comm service to those who may not know its impact
