The Role

In the midst of their current IPO, they are now in a position to ramp up and take the business to the next level by hiring a tech-savvy Business Development Manager who can help forge new relationships within any of their suitable target markets. (E.g. Finance, Insurance, Consulting, Digital Advertising, Emergency Services, Risk Management, and Urban Planning).

Reporting directly to the Head Of Sales, you will have full autonomy over the Victoria market as follows:

  • Responsibility for all Business Development across Victoria, leveraging your own industry networks and knowledge
  • Drive sales into new and existing channels, and drive awareness of game-changing technology that is quickly becoming the future of data insights
  • Foster new relationships with direct clients and effective channel partners
  • Participate in networking events and strategy sessions
  • Highly consultative and collaborative approach
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making, and overcome objections
  • Develop strategies for up-selling and cross-selling into major accounts

  • Proven track-record of success within B2B sales at C-suite level
  • Experience in Software / IT sales / Consultancy (PREFERRED)
  • An established network of contacts within a market sector from previous roles
  • Strong drive to hit targets and earn excellent commission
  • A "hunter" mentality, with ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
