Role
As the Business Development Manager for their Canberra operation you will not be focused on selling product, but working directly with the State Director to identify strategic opportunities with Top 200 Companies, government departments and major design firms.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage an existing portfolio of relationships with major design, developer & building organisations at Management & Principle level
  • Identifying major project and relocation opportunities through Commercial Real Estate / Property Agents & Tennants Representatives, to consult with their clients on workplace strategy, project planning and management
  • Supported by an experienced product team to develop solutions
  • Key representative at industry functions, client entertainment - lunches, dinners, sporting events etc, marketing initiatives
  • Success will equal lucrative earnings and opportunities for further progression into management within an Australian market leader


Candidate

  • Senior level sales with demonstrated experience developing opportunities with mid to large organisations
  • Ability to hold conversations on culture, direction, business growth & workplace strategy rather than purely product
  • Willingness to work as a team, leveraging the product team, allowing you to focus on relationship and opportunity development
  • An interest in or experience with the commercial design/furniture and/or Commercial Property market may be advantageous
