Our client is one of Australia's leading Workwear and PPE suppliers to iconic workwear brands. Through recent strategic growth and ambitious plans for future growth, the business is looking to recruit an additional Business Development Manager to the NSW team with proven ability to join their high-performing business. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and converting them into new accounts. The primary function of the role will be to strategically identify where businesses have workwear needs and bringing their account to the business. You will achieve this through conducting strategic sales plans to spark interest to new clients, whilst creating the relationship through presentations, meetings and catch ups. KPI reporting, cost management and providing world-class customer service are major components of the role. The role will also have an aspect of assisting in managing client rollouts due to having recent growth on some new major accounts.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a Workwear or PPE background
- Be looking for growth from a Customer Service or Internal Sales role
- Strong communication skills and rapport building capabilities
- Tenacity, energy and drive are key characteristics that are favorable
- Have a minimum of 2 years' sales, customer service or sales experience
- Strong time management skills
The successful candidate will be receiving a base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience). A car allowance (c$15K) is calculated on top of the basic as are tools of the trade and superannuation. A strong bonus structure is offered for driven performers that provide an amazing service and show success in their role.
