Business Development Manager for Australia’s leading commercial inbound telco service  – 100% hunting, full sales cycle, national territory, OTE $130k

This Telco division is part of a global tech services company that have grown year on year for over 20 years, now with 50 offices globally. Constantly developing new and innovative products within disruptive tech, cyber security, digital media, cloud solutions and communications, this is an opportunity to help drive and grow the sales function of a cutting-edge Telco solution for the business world

The role

Sitting within their Brisbane Telco team, you will have complete freedom to source and win new business across a national territory, generating leads and closing sales face-to-face for services such as inbound numbers, call routing, answering services and clever analytics / reporting that comes from it. A typical day might involve:
  • Generating leads, cold calling and getting in front of decision-makers
  • Creating and pitching engaging new business presentations / proposals to secure relationships with business owners and key decision makers
  • Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets through consulting and negotiating on tech solutions
  • Pipeline management from new lead to completed sales
The person
  • Proven success selling Telco solutions
  • Proven success in complex B2B solution sales, business development, and c-suite presentations
  • Experience generating own leads and closing sales in person
  • Highly tenacious, problem-solving mindset who thrives on challenges
  • A ready-made network of contacts would be advantageous
  • A clear passion for B2B tech
