Exclusive to Denovo, our client is an outdoor-focused travel tech company that is taking the market by storm. They have just acquired two new companies within the industry and are on the hunt for a new outdoor loving sales professional.
About the Role:
As part of a newly developed revenue stream, you will be responsible for selling critical data generated from their multitude of products and services in the market, into councils and tourism boards. They have already generated a huge amount of demand for the product and need someone to capitalise on this huge revenue opportunity.
Other responsibilities include
- Outbound B2B calling to councils/tourism boards
- Attending industry events (Monthly/Bi-Monthly)
- Educating clients on a variety of possible benefits from this information
- Speaking to a range of clients from Sydney to Alice Springs
The Successful Candidate:
As a lover of everything outdoors you want to share that passion with others, and as an experienced salesperson, you can use this channel to connect with others in the industry. You are the consultative selling type, really digging into the needs of the clients and being able to tailor your service to provide solutions to their needs.
- At least 2 years B2B sales experience (Preferably selling into Gov't or councils)
- Confident on the phone, cold calling prospects.
- Sales in the data or tech space.
- Consultative selling type, understanding the importance of consistent touch points.
- Hands-on, flexible and solution solving startup/small business mentality
